Company Overview
Medford School District 549C maintains an enrollment of approximately 12,400 students who attend fourteen elementary schools, two middle schools, two high schools and one alternative school. The District staff includes 576 teachers, 501 classified personnel and 34 administrators.
District 549C is a mix of rural and urban attendance areas. The majority of schools are within the city of Medford.

*Health Insurance – The district will provide excellent family coverage for medical/hospital, dental and vision care. Additionally, long-term disability is offered for employee only.
*Sick Leave – Ten days per year, which may be accumulated.
*Family Illness – Three days per year which are non-cumulative.
*Bereavement Leave – Two days per year for death of a relative or close associate ~ five days per year for death of a parent, spouse, or child, which are non-cumulative.
*Personal Leave – Three days per school year for the following reasons: religious holiday, personal business, court appearances, or emergency conditions preventing member from reporting to work, which are non-cumulative.
*Sabbatical Leave – May be requested after seven years of continuous service with the district.
*Extra-Comp Pay – Compensation for extended time before/after the regular school year, or coaching and directing other student activities.
*PERS – The district will assume and pay a six- percent employee contribution to the Public Employees Retirement System for those bargaining unit members participating in the PERS.
