Baltimore County Public Schools is the 25th largest school system in the U.S.; the 3rd largest in the state of Maryland, serving more than 111,000 students. Our theory of action is to equip every student with the critical 21st century skills needed to be globally competitive. Members of Team BCPS believe that we must ensure that every school has an equitable learning environment and that every student has access to learning and developing proficiency in a second language. The Blueprint 2.0: Our Way Forward is a five-year strategic plan that clearly defines the roadmap for our school district to focus on a world-class curriculum and the digital conversion of all learning environments.
