Schuylkill Valley School District Superintendent
The Schuylkill Valley School District Board of Directors is actively seeking a dynamic individual with integrity, visionary leadership, exceptional communication skills, and outstanding business and administrative abilities to lead a district serving over 2,127 students with a budget of $49,771,295 for the 2025-2026 academic year.
The Board is searching for a candidate who provides visionary leadership in alignment with the District’s mission, “to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which each student is challenged to think critically, problem-solve, create, and communicate. The successful candidate will oversee the effective management of district resources, including financial, human, and technological assets. The district is seeking an exceptional leader with a proven track record of fostering a culture of academic excellence and student success through innovative instructional practices and effective curriculum development.
Key Qualifications:
Experience in achieving high academic performance
Experience in making sound school finance decisions
Outstanding business and administrative abilities
Proven oversight of capital improvement projects and grant programs
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong leadership ability
Experience with the development and implementation of curriculum
Knowledge of educational and technological best practices
Ensure accountability at all levels of the organization, promoting a collaborative and supportive environment for staff and students
Experience in actively engaging with the community to promote positive relationships and partnerships that enhance student learning and well-being
Experience, Education, and Certification Requirements:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in education
Building administrative or central office experience
Doctorate, preferred
PA Superintendent Letter of Eligibility
A competitive benefits package and a salary range of $175,000-$205,000 commensurate with experience and qualifications.
